Job Description
Hours:OnCall
Location:Richmond VA
Responsibilities:
Monitor entrances and exits to IMB facilities at reception desk and by closedcircuit television.
Act to prevent unlawful or unauthorized entry.
Monitor vehicular traffic on IMB property to prevent criminal activity.
Follow standard operating procedures when locking/unlocking facilities.
Greet staff vendors volunteers and general public who request access to IMB property. Check photo IDs for staff and picture IDs for visitors vendors and contractors.
Maintain daily log of all visitors vendors and contractors. Notify proper staff member when they have visitors.
Monitor fire alarm panels and closed Circuit Television camera systems.
Surveys buildings and parking lots during shift. Report any observed irregularities such as the presence of unauthorized people fire hazards or unsecured entry points.
Requirements:
High school diploma
Must be willing to train and obtain DCJS license and CPR/First AID certification within first few months of being hired.
