Job Description
Cedar Park Group is seeking a skilled and reliable Laborer/ Heavy Equipment Operator with a minimum of 3 years of handson experience operating heavy equipment such as skid steers mini excavators (trac/traco) and bulldozers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety procedures site preparation grading excavation and material handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate skid steer loaders mini excavators and bulldozers on various job sites
- Perform excavation grading trenching backfilling and site cleanup as required
- Conduct routine preoperation inspections and report any equipment issues
- Move in and out of equipment to help crew as needed
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times
- Assist in loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Read and interpret site plans or instructions from supervisors
- Work collaboratively with other crew members to complete projects efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of assigned equipment
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating skid steers mini excavators and bulldozers
- Strong knowledge of equipment operation and site safety procedures
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Valid drivers license (CDL preferred but not required)
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA certification or other relevant safety training
- Experience working on residential or commercial construction sites
- Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance
- Valid drivers license (CDL preferred but not required)
