Quality Inspector
Derby
Permanent
15.50 16.50 per hour DOE shift allowance
Overview
EMBS Engineering has been tasked with identifying multiple Quality Inspectors on behalf of a precision engineering company located in Derby that manufactures small to mediumsized complex safetycritical components for some of the worlds leading aerospace manufacturing companies

- Inspecting precision components using manual measuring equipment such as verniers micrometres calipers etc and/or CMM
- Identifying and raising NCRs
- Performing firstoff stage and final inspection
- Previous quality inspection experience
- Worked within a precision engineering environment inspected parts supplied into the aerospace automotive motorsport rail oil & gas nuclear or MOD sectors
- Ideally final / release inspection experience
- Ability to use manual measuring equipment particularly verniers calipers and micrometers
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- A meticulous approach to working and strong attention to detail
- Hardworking with an aptitude and willingness to learn
