Wealth Planning & Advice is a group of experts in trusts & estates tax planning financial planning and planning in related areas for individuals and their entities (operating businesses private foundations etc.. Our role is to work with advisors and their clients to educate them about wealth planning opportunities both simple (e.g. asset titling beneficiary designations) and complex (e.g. GRATs splitinterest trusts). We provide intellectual capital to clients across the wealth continuum and will work oneonone with clients in appropriate circumstances. Familiarity with the taxation of entities and of estates and trusts is also useful but not required. Knowledge of issues relating to securitiesbased compensation (restricted stock employee stock options performance share units etc. preliquidity planning and concentrated position management (such as 10b51 plans derivativebased transactions and exchange funds) will also be a plus.
As Executive Director Wealth Planner within J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Wealth Planning & Advice you will use your deep understanding of tax and trust & estate laws to simplifying complex legal concepts for clients and advisors and being part of a team specializing in trusts & estates tax planning financial planning and related areas. The job requires working closely with advisors and clients educating them about wealth planning opportunities and staying updated on tax laws. The role also involves collaborating with Advisors to develop business opportunities. The candidate must have excellent communication skills a strong initiative a deep understanding of tax and trust & estate laws and a natural curiosity for people planning and the wealth management industry.
