WHAT YOU WILL DO
The mission of the Data Insights team is to enable all business departments at Acne Studios to make datadriven decisions in their daily work from operational to strategical level. We are seeking an experienced data engineer to further strengthened this team and take the lead in bringing our data platform to the next level. This is a role where you will get the opportunity to be part of our datadriven decisionmaking journey in a progressive fashion house.
You will play a vital role in this by:
- Develop deploy and maintain data pipelines that transforms raw data into useful actionable information for our stakeholders.
- Assist our data scientists in building BI reports and machine learningbased applications by providing the transformed data needed by these applications.
- Improve our data platform and automated processes to further increase the efficiency of our data pipelines and the productivity of our team members.
- Constantly refactoring our codebase improving our data transformations and pipelines independently and together with the team.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify value and business needs and translate them into concrete problem statements and data needs.
- Communicate complex ideas and analysis results to technical and nontechnical business stakeholders
You will report to the Manager Data Insights and belong to the Acne IT department in our headquarters in Stockholm.

Specific experience and knowledge for this role:
- Masters degree in computer science or related field
- Strong software engineering background
- Proficient coding skills in Python and SQL
- Experience working with Spark
- Experience from working with continuous delivery in agile frameworks like Scrum or similar
- Experience working e2e with defining building deploying and maintaining modern data products in an enterprise context
- Experience setting up a modern data platform/infrastructure incl automations CI/CD pipelines etc.
- Ideally experience working with one or more BI tools like PowerBI Qlik etc.
- Fluent in English

- A mindset that focuses on practical solutions. You should be able to prioritize tasks and make informed decisions in the face of ambiguity or complexity ensuring that the project moves forward effectively while balancing shortterm needs with longterm goals.
- The ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders. Your communication skills will be key in building strong relationships managing expectations and ensuring alignment across teams and departments.
