Description
This is a temporary position.

Reporting to the Director DNAT Digital Operations the Senior Manager Adobe Products Engineer will fulfill Marriotts digital objectives by leveraging Adobes Experience Cloud products: Tags (formely Adobe Launch) Target and Analytics to implement code on M. Objectives include tracking use behavior on the web and app through link tracking and pageload data capture installing thirdparty marketing tags creating new data pipes for transferring data to partners using Adobes EventHandling service and troubleshooting issues regarding analytics tracking and Adobe Target test campaigns. An ongoing migration from a pagelevel data layerbased web page to new page technologies ACDL and Web SDK will be supported.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business or IT or equivalent education and related training
  • 5 years of development or IT support experience
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced agile environment
  • Working knowledge of abovecode technology (ie: Adobe Tags (formerly Launch) ideally across multiple products in Adobe Experience Cloud (e.g. Adobe Analytics Adobe Audience Manager Adobe Target etc.
  • Advanced knowledge in JavaScript platforms AJAX HTML HTML5 CSS CSS3 and SQL
  • Experience testing crossbrowser compatibility and implementing UI/visual designs within ADA and security principles
  • Familiarity with DOM/ObjectOriented Design Web Services (REST/SOAP) and Multimedia Content
  • Proven experience dynamically interacting with the Browser DOM via JavaScript
  • Experience with pagelevel data layer and proxy tools such as Chrome developer tools
  • Must be able to troubleshoot scripting issues on digital platforms using browsers console and other toolsCORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Deploy interactive scheduled programs on owned channels; develop and deploy temporary code fixes across experience
  • Collaborate with platform product to ensure stable releases functional alignment and appropriate unified release cycles
  • Work closely with brand loyalty and marketing to plan and deploy new capabilities in an evolving platform
  • Ensure personal availability to deploy hot fixes and maintain system uptime for capabilities deployed within environment; working to resolve outages quickly and effectively
  • Deliver capabilities to modernize tech stack capabilities on owned channels aligned with the latest industry trends
  • Great care and craft for designing systems and building campaigns correctly from day one with appropriate planning and communication of delivery and updates
  • Keeps uptodate technically and applies new knowledge to job Additional Responsibilities
  • Works independently with minimal supervision but knows when issues should be escalated to manager
  • Develops relationships with members of other teams and leverages those relationships to answer questions
  • Presents work with clarity and confidence; explains complex matters so that others can understand them
  • Uses appropriate communication mechanisms (i.e. inperson conversation Microsoft Teams chat email phone call) for each situation
  • Demonstrates selfconfidence energy and enthusiasm
  • Performs other reasonable duties as assigned by manager

The pay range for this position is $47.35 to $69.71 per hour.

Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
