Job Description:
The Center for Global Engagement (CGE) at Baylor University is seeking a creative and motivated undergraduate student currently pursuing a career in marketing social media or a related field. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a social media ambassador promoting international students and study abroad experiences while developing engaging content for our social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Create print and digital marketing for Baylor Study Abroad Programs
Capture photo and video content at CGE events to showcase student experiences.
Assist in promoting the Center for Global Engagement programs through campus tabling and other promotional activities.
Serve as a spokesperson for CGE interacting with students and conducting oncampus interviews for social media content.
Brainstorm design and create original social media content for the Center for Global Engagements Social Media pages and Newsletter
Utilize design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud (including Adobe Premiere and Illustrator) to produce highquality digital content.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Either a current international student or has studied abroad with Baylor
Strong passion for social media marketing digital content creation and storytelling.
Familiarity with the current social media landscape and trends (Bonus: established social media presence).
Knowledge of Baylor Universitys culture and values.
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment both independently and as part of a team.
Provide marketing and communications support to assigned area of responsibility
Assist with various projects activities or tasks related to marketing and communications
Support marketing and communications strategies and perform duties accordingly
Exhibit a willingness to take initiative and work independently and collaboratively
Ability to comply with University policies
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
