Job Description
Our client is a leading construction contractor seeking a reliable and experienced CDL A Driver to transport heavy equipment to and from job sites safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of DOT regulations load securement and tractortrailer/flatbed truck operation.
Job Responsibilities
Safely load and operate heavy equipment moving and securing equipment onto trucks for delivery. Equipment transported will include Skid Steers Mini Excavators Light towers etc.
Operate tractortrailer truck delivering to job sites throughout the Greater Charlotte area.
Follow detailed instructions to identify load and deliver the correct equipment to job sites promptly.
Load and secure equipment according to DOT Standards and perform thorough inspections of loaded equipment predelivery and postdelivery.
Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork.
Perform light maintenance duties on trucks when not on delivery.
Job Requirements
2 or more years of experience hauling construction equipment.
CDL A license required
Some experience operating Skid Steer Mini Ex and similarly sized construction equipment preferred.
Clean Driving Record
Physical fitness to manipulate upwards of 50 pounds constantly throughout the workday.
