What youll do at Elekta
As a Systems Engineer your primary responsibility will be to ensure adequate quality in design input for the development of our future radiation therapy products. You will be part of a system engineering team in an agile program working according to SAFe where you will be contributing in all systems engineering activities. The system engineering team coordinates the development in subsystem teams that are located at several sites around the world.
Responsibilities
Supporting and mentoring development teams formalizing subsystem design input
Driving or participating in all systems engineering activities like system design requirements engineering risk management and usability engineering
Working together with the subsystem teams to find and document solutions in a structured way
Driving relentless improvements of procedures and ways of working
The right stuff
To be a suitable candidate for this position we think you have
A masters degree in engineering physics electrical engineering computer science mechanical engineering or equivalent
Experience in the application of system engineering practices
Experience in requirements engineering and/or risk management
Demonstrated aptitude for systems thinking
Broad and genuine interest in technology
The ability to holistically understand the users need the technology in the system and how the different parts in the system will need to interact to perform system functions
Experience of building and maintaining successful and effective working relationships with engineering peers and stakeholders
Experience of working in a regulated industry preferably in the medical sector
A personality based on strong ethical standards values and good judgement
Excellent command of English both written and spoken
