What You Will Do
- Functional and operational tests on electronic pneumatic electromechanical and/or mechanical production items.
- Operate standard commercial and specialized test equipment to ensure compliance and/or conformance to engineering military and manufacturing specifications.
- Ensure compliance and conformance to specified quality control methods procedures and standards.
- Plan setup and perform functional operational environmental and specialized testing under all conditions.
- May be required to perform functions with or without predetermined test procedures or limited instructions on electrical electronic mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic experimental developmental electromechanical subsystems units measuring and testing devices.
- The laying out fabrication assembly modification diagnosing troubleshooting repairing and inspection of production prototype commercial and special items.
Qualifications You Must Have
- High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED) and have three 3 years of experience in functional electronic electromechanical and/or mechanical production items. This also includes: operational test using specialized testing under various types of laboratory and production environments; or hold an AAS in electronic technology; or equivalent technical education or training.
- Must be able to work any designated shift to include overnight.
- Must possess ability to interpret engineering military and manufacturing specifications.
- Must have fabricated assembled diagnosed troubleshot and required production prototype and commercial items.
- Must have experience in determining causes of malfunctions recommending rework and making necessary adjustments.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- The ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance.
