Job Description
What Youll Do:
Looking to break into the bar business The Barback is the perfect entrylevel opportunity for you to gain experience.
Every Bartender and Restaurant Server needs a capable assistant to have their back behind the bar and in the restaurant. Here are a few of the tasks you can expect to complete regularly:
- Prepare and setup restaurant/bar for daily service.
- Monitor and maintain the stock of ice juice liquor beer and wine.
- Cut and stock garnishes for drinks.
- Ensure bar and restaurant area are clean and organized.
Where Youve Been:
Were looking for someone with a high school diploma or equivalent. While previous bartending experience is a plus it is not required. What we really want is someone capable of thinking on their feet and able to keep up in highpressure situations. If that sounds like you go ahead and apply.
When Youre Here:
This probably goes without saying but youll be on your feet a lot. There will be occasions when you may be carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds walking bending/twisting climbing stairs and more. You also must be able to accommodate varying schedules including nights weekends and holidays.
