What You Can Expect Working in the Commercial Installer Position

As the Commercial Installer for SurviveaStorm commercial shelters your primary responsible is to install various models of shelters into commercial spaces while also working in a team to review the schedule load the shelters and coordinate with the customer for delivery and installation. Great customer service and organizational skills will ensure the best experience and quality for our company and customers.

Responsibilities

• Installs concrete pads by digging building and using forms to shape concrete to specified levels and consistency and pouring concrete.
• Uses a variety of tools such as straightedges floats rakes shovels trowels and brooms to spread level smooth and finish concrete and surface.
• Places inbed plates in freshly poured concrete.
• Installs shelters by mounting and anchoring products.
• Inspects the quality of work and product to ensure it meets company and customer requirements.
• Accurately completes all corresponding paperwork and returns it to the installation coordinator.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Drivers License.
• 2 years of construction experience.
• 1 years of forklift and pallet jack experience.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 10 OSHA 30.
• Certified Welder.
• Concrete Experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Medical Examiners Certification Medical Card.
• Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations.
• Ability to read and understand oversize routes and permits.
