About the Role
Care Workers at Level 2 implement Care Plans and report any concerns or reasons care plans cannot be followed as well as monitoring care and welfare of citizens recording accurate information on running records communication books care plans monitoring charts (e.g. weight monitoring falls etc. and other written and electronic communications as required.
Care Workers at Level 2 are also expected to work and cooperate with other professionals as well as citizens and their meaningful others to ensure a shared approach to care and support and continuity of care and treatment.
To provide safe and appropriate personalised care and support to citizens in a way that maintains their dignity maximises independence and gives them choice and control over the way their care is provided. This includes writing and maintaining individual person centred care plans and the administration of medication.
To work in any area of Adult Social Care whether in the home the community or within a Council establishment and to be prepared to work with Citizens with different and varying needs.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
