Title:Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

Schedule: Per Diem 6 visits p/week)
* Nontraditional schedules are available i.e. ThursdayMonday

Location(s):

Area #7covering the cities of Vallejo Benicia Napa American Canyon Yountville

Secondary Area #6 covers the cities ofVacaville Fairfield Rio Vista Suisun City Dixon


Position Summary:
Occupational therapy focuses on specific daily activities and movements. Utilizing the common items at home or special adaptive equipment the OT will train the patient or caregiver in activities such as selfgrooming dressing toileting and bathing. There are also advanced activities such as cooking housekeeping laundry and shopping that the OT is particularly geared toward. In addition to the above the occupational therapy team focuses on community reintegration as well as introducing patients to leisuretype activities that provide a holistic approach to treating health and wellness.

Requirements:

  • Valid California Occupational Therapy Assistant license
  • CPR Certification
  • Minimum of one 1 year clinical experience as Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant desired.
