Sheet Metal worker
Job Role
Our client is a wellestablished and growing company in Chatteris specializing in sheetmetal work. They are currently seeking an experienced Sheetmetal worker to join their established engineering team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly company who are rapidly growing offering a varied role where you will be given great future opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
- Cutting metal to size.
- Drilling and tapping with sub assembly work
- Work from simple manufacture drawings
- Assist with the folding of flashings on a press brake machine.
- Cut jobs ready for folding using guillotine.
- To assist in the fabrication of insulated gutters.
Person Specification
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings
- Must have proven previous working experience as a Sheet Metal Worker/Fabricator
- Excellent timekeeping attendance reliability and commitment
- Strong Team Player and able to work on own initiative
- Adhere to company health and safety policies
- Good communication skills
Hours of Work and Pay
- 8:00 am 4:30 pm Monday to Friday
- 12.50/hr
- 40 hours per week.
- Regular overtime available
- Quarterly bonus
