Job Description
The Health PhysicalEducation and Recreation (HPER) Programs at Lorain County Community College search for aStudentWorkerWelcome Desk role consists of being the first friendly point of contact for all participants accessing the facilities serving themwith highquality customer service and positively implementing HPER policies and procedures. In addition the position includes working with other staff members as a team to perform the tasks necessary for the operation of the HPER facilities. Thestudentworkerwill be responsible for greetingand logging all eligible participants in/out of the HPER facilities assisting with setting up rentals athletic events and classes and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the HPER is a fastpaced environment with every day different from the last. This position is a great way to gain realworld experience in a college setting.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age enrolled student at LCCC with sixor more credit hours while maintaining a GPA of 2.0 and can lift at least 30 pounds to set up equipment for classes and facility rentals. The candidate must be reliable prompt detailoriented possess proper phone manners be computer literate neatly groomed and courteous and be willing to receive instruction from several staff members.

Established in 1963 Lorain County Community College is the first community college in Ohio with a permanent campus. For six decades LCCC has served the diverse needs of greater Lorain County region by providing affordable access to higher education and now serves approximately 13000 students each year in certificate associate bachelors and masters degree programs.
