The impact youll make
First impressions are everything. And youll set the tone for every guests stay. When a guest walks into our Hotel imagine that first look around they take followed by that sigh of relief because theyve arrived to their home away from home be it for a night or a week and its perfect. Everything is working just the way it should.
What youll do
You will be responsible for carrying out any repair or rectifying any maintenance issues throughout the hotel as and when they arise
You will respond to and attend to guest repair requests
You will perform preventative maintenance on tools kitchen and mechanical equipment
You will be an excellent communicator and build excellent relationships with departments across the hotel
Report on any new or developing engineering works that need to be addressed to the Engineering Manager
Assist with maintaining the physical appearance and operational efficiency of the hotel including physical mechanical electrical plumbing etc
Assist with energy saving and green initiatives within the hotel
Assist with inventory organisation and ordering
What were looking for

Experience in a similar role
A plumbing or electrical qualification is an advantage but not compulsory

With this role you will be working 40 hours per week over 5 days predominately Monday Friday. You will work on an oncall rota and are paid an additional 120 per week when you are on call. Do you need flexibility in your life We are happy to discuss this with you!
