Job Description
ASP Web Solutions LLC is looking for a PACS Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in Portsmouth VA. This person is responsible for daytoday onsite engineering services necessary to support the operations and maintenance of an enterprise PACS. He/she will be shall be responsible for supporting and/or performing the
installation and configuration of new or replaced hardware and software components.
The ideal candidate will have a broad technical background a solid understanding of applicable analytics and a natural curiosity for producing effective solutions. This person is patient has excellent timemanagement skills and practices of effective communication style.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Skills:
- PACS Systems:Deep knowledge of PACS architecture configuration and troubleshooting.
- Operating Systems:Proficiency in Linux Windows and other relevant operating systems.
- Networking:Understanding of network protocols and technologies.
- Databases:Experience with database management systems (e.g. MySQL).
- Hardware:Knowledge of server hardware storage systems (SAN/NAS) and RAID arrays.
- System Administration:
Deploying configuring and maintaining PACS systems and related infrastructure. - Troubleshooting:
Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with PACS and related systems. - Performance Optimization:
Conducting audits of existing PACS server environments and optimizing performance. - Project Lifecycle Support:
Providing technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle from planning to implementation and maintenance. - Documentation:
Maintaining accurate and uptodate documentation of PACS systems and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
- Two years of experience is required
- Knowledge of all engineering tools and applications and programming languages
