Please note that we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager: Specialisation in Roads for our client in Durban/ Pietermaritzburg KwaZulu Natal province.

Duties & Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
Building and maintaining effective relationships and networks.
Manage the effective implementation of all people management processes.
Assist and review all roads and earthworks tenders before submission.
Ensure service delivery and operational excellence in respect of project and engineering .
Implement monitor and maintain all relevant SHEQ & Wellness standards.
Develop and strengthen customer relationships.
Direct the evaluation of new technologies systems and processes to produce the appropriate business results.
Be involved with mentorship and skills development.
Must demonstrate Business Acumen.
Competent in negotiations and business development.
Know and understand the management of CPG contractors.
Knowledge of pipelines will be advantageous.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Relevant Tertiary Qualification E.g. BSc/BEng/BTech Degree in Civil Engineering.
The Construction Management Programme (CMP) will be advantageous.
SACPCMP essential.
ECSA advantageous.
15 years minimum experience required of which at least 10 years was sitebased experience.
Experience with NEC/FIDIC and COLTO contracts.
Computer literacy: relevant construction software e.g. CCS Build smart planning and programming software etc.
Package & Remuneration
Salary offered: Market related and dependent on experience
