The Team:

The InBusiness Controls team within the Ratings division is dedicated to ensuring operational excellence and robust risk management. The Impact:

In this role you will be instrumental in the management of vendor and affiliate relationships to ensure efficient and effective operations in line with company policies. You will evaluate and monitor vendor and affiliate performance adherence to contract cost and risk.

What you stand to Gain:

The successful candidate will have global responsibilities covering all departments in Ratings. You will have regular exposure to senior leaders in the Division and Corporate Functions. You will also develop a broad knowledge and skillset in managing risk and controls.

Responsibilities:

Crisil GAC Oversight

  • As an Engagement Owner for Crisil Global Analytics Centre (GAC) demonstrate strategic leadership by setting clear objectives driving the governance agenda and influencing decisionmaking processes.

  • Lead or attend Governance Oversight meetings with clarity ensuring that insights and feedback are communicated effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ensure risks issues and incidents are escalated and remediated promptly showcasing a proactive approach to risk management.

  • Operate various oversight controls with precision maintaining high standards in site visits metrics verifications and documentation management.

Affiliate Governance

  • Support VMOs relationships with Engagement Owners and affiliates by fostering a collaborative environment that values diverse perspectives.

  • Enhance governance over affiliates by conducting thorough risk assessments and analysis ensuring robust risk and control management.

  • Support reviews and exams by providing necessary information and implementing Management Action Plans (MAPs) demonstrating adaptability and leadership in managing change.

  • Provide accurate and insightful reporting to various oversight committees including Ratings Boards.

VMO Projects

  • Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives driving innovation and efficiency in processes and controls related to vendors and affiliates.

  • Guide project teams in aligning improvement initiatives with strategic business goals ensuring that project outcomes contribute to the organizations success.

What Were Looking For:

  • Proven experience in vendor and affiliate management preferably within a regulated entity. An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 10 years of relevant experience.

  • Ability to work effectively across different cultures and time zones with a truly global perspective.

  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a focus on operational efficiency.

  • Experience in the Ratings industry or a similar sector.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Understanding of operational risk management including how to identify evaluate and mitigate risk.

  • Knowledge of operational controls including how to monitor test and oversee controls.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and drive process improvements.

  • Knowledge of industry best practices in vendor and affiliate management.
