We are looking for an upbeat individual with a cando attitude to join our customer service department. This role involves processing and maintaining customer sales orders. To excel in this position candidates should provide prompt and friendly service actively addressing customer inquiries about pricing inventory and shipping status. The ideal candidate will have experience with diverse customer interactions and maintain a calm professional demeanor in challenging situations.


Job Title: Office Clerk Pay Rate: $21/hr. Schedule: 1st (AM) Benefits: Medical Dental AD&D


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Communicate with customers via email messaging and telephone.
  2. Enter orders promptly and accurately confirming pricing ship dates and special instructions before sending order confirmations.
  3. Manage orders by ensuring accurate shipping details and monitoring backordered items promptly communicating any delays or changes.
  4. Support the Sales Team by sending product samples providing information on customer pricing and order history and generating inventory reports.
  5. Assist other departments with administrative tasks and fulfill additional duties assigned by management.
  6. Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and company events as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate or Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Skills/Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an office environment.
  • Previous Customer Service and/or Agriculture experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Selfstarter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks under deadlines.
