We are Lick
We are building a peoplepowered decorating movement where everyone feels supported and inspired to transform their space with our unique pigmentrich colours and high quality products. All with consideration to your and our home; planet Earth.
Were a business that believes in building confidence in our decorators. Seeing their bright ideas and making them happen. We do this by giving our doer uppers access to inspiration advice and howto guidance from our experts and wider community. As well as making our range of (waterbased trace VOC) paint (FSCcertified) wallpaper and ecosupplies with real people and real homes in mind.
Its why we curate a selection of pigmentrich paints with unique depth of colour and their own individual identity and highquality designer wallpapers. Its why we have an expert team of colour consultants onhand to help with any decorating question big or small. Its why were building a supportive community of decorators to inspire each other with their projects.
Because we know that a small change in colour can have a huge impact on the way we feel.
Gone are the days of too much choice feeling like youre doing it alone and messy expensive sample pots. This is a fresh look for decorating.

About the Company
Lick was founded in 2019 by Lucas London and Sam Bradley both experienced startup entrepreneurs targeting the $1trillion global home decor market.
Since launching in 2020 we have evolved tremendously and since then Lick has expanded into 3 separate brands:
- Lick: for the DIY customer
- LickPro: for the Trade customer
- Lick Tools: our own range of sustainable tools
We have continually developed our product range developed new sustainability initiatives and grown our community of decorators. Successful campaigns such as the Heinz x Lick collaboration & Soho Home range as well as our huge partnerships with Screwfix & diy are leading us in the right direction and its really a very exciting time to be joining us on this journey!
Our Office
We are a hybrid working team and we believe in the value of getting together offline and online. For this reason we are focused on hiring candidates who can easily work in London. We see huge value in our team sharing an office together and strongly encourage everyone to use it as often as they can. Monday Tuesday and Thursday are mandatory days.
We provide tea coffee milk (dairy & plantbased) fruit a communal outdoor terrace area meeting rooms bike storage showers and communal breakout spaces throughout the building.

Supercharging a fresh look for decorating means fixing the home decor industrys environmental footprint. This is why weve put sustainability at the top of our agenda. Were constantly working to lower our impact on the planet and create a better future for our kids.
Were on our way Our peel and stick samples use 95 less waste than sample pots our trace VOC waterbased paints contain fewer harmful chemicals and a more easily biodegradable end product and our packaging is 100 biodegradable.
In 2022 we announced that we are B Corp certified a real milestone moment.

About The Role
Were looking for an experienced and versatile Creative Designer to help bring to life a variety of commercial brand and growth marketing projects. Youll be excited to take our brand to the next level and be brimming with ideas as to how youd like to see our in house creative grow push boundaries and produce amazing work for a variety of campaigns across multiple platforms.
This role is a great allrounder; a digital creative innovator whilst also passionate about creating outstanding print materials. You will have proven experience in delivering forwardthinking fresh design solutions that are onbrand original and inspiring often within very tight timeframes. Reporting to the Lead Designer you will own a wide range of design deliverables from digital design for social platforms to press invites and printed flyers. All from brief and conception through to delivery. Youll be someone whos passionate about social content and digital design highly experienced in engaging stakeholders and collaborators from different backgrounds whilst ensuring the brand is articulated beautifully and consistently in a wonderfully original way.
Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
Create firstclass creative concepts in response to growthoriented and brand building briefs
Faultlessly execute a wide range of assets across all relevant channels through to delivery such as paid social media campaigns digital product assets print materials such as packaging and press invites.
Deliver content inline with Licks brand identity values and tone of voice with an excellent eye for detail and strong typography and layout skills across all digital and print platforms
Requirements
4 years experience in design/creative studios or inhouse
Accomplished with Adobe Creative Suite (Primarily Photoshop Illustrator Indesign After Effects and Premiere Pro)
A true creative maker who loves the craft and can execute across multiple design disciplines from layouts social video edits photoediting to grading.
A genuine love for digital marketing and the online space performance marketing (email paid social and other media) A/B testing designing for a specific target audience and social media channels
Experience in designing socialfirst assets
Print experience designing packaging (wholesale is a bonus).
A brilliant creative thinker with the ability to mood board creative ideas.
Strong time management skills ability to manage shifting priorities whilst maintaining a cool head and commitment to deadlines in a reactive and fastpaced environment.
A high level of accuracy and obsessive attention to detail
Excellent at communicating.
A team player someone who can fit into our friendly cooperative working style with a cando attitude
