Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor of Orthodontics
The University of Florida College of Dentistry (UFCD) is recruiting a fulltime clinical track faculty position in the Department of Orthodontics at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank. UFCD is one of the leading dental schools in the United States devoted to improving and promoting oral health throughout Florida the nation and worldwide through excellence in teaching research patient care and service.
Responsibilities will include clinical and didactic teaching of predoctoral (DMD) students and orthodontics residents participation in research/scholarly activity and intramural clinical practice. Minimum requirements include a DDS DMD or equivalent dental degree and completion of an advanced CODA accredited training program in orthodontics. Preference will be given to board certified or board eligible candidates with previous teaching experience. The individual should be able to conduct innovative and impactful research in orthodontics publish in peerreviewed journals and mentor residents in their research projects. Salary and rank are commensurate with credentials and experience.
