As we continue to expand we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Recruiting Manager to lead our talent acquisition efforts. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of a leading organization in the defense industry.
Job Overview: We are seeking an accomplished Recruiting Manager with 68 years of experience in talent acquisition and team leadership to oversee and manage our recruitment strategies. This role will be responsible for developing and executing effective recruitment campaigns enhancing the recruitment process and managing a team of recruiters. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a fastpaced highgrowth environment with a deep understanding of federal contracting needs and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the recruiting team to ensure recruitment goals are met across multiple functions and levels within the organization.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the defense sector with a focus on key roles critical to our business.
- Partner with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand staffing needs business goals and workforce planning.
- Oversee the full recruitment life cycle including sourcing screening interviewing and hiring of candidates.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and companyspecific recruitment policies particularly those related to defense contracting regulations and security clearances.
- Drive continuous improvement in the recruitment process by identifying best practices leveraging new technologies and maintaining candidate pipelines.
- Manage and mentor a growing team of recruiters providing guidance training and professional development opportunities.
- Track and report key recruitment metrics to senior leadership to ensure performance and alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage relationships with external staffing agencies job boards and other recruitment partners.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the defense contracting industry and stay up to date on trends challenges and opportunities within talent acquisition.
- Oversee the Application Tracking Software (Greenhouse and Paylocity).
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- 68 years of experience in recruitment with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team of recruiters in a fastpaced highvolume environment.
- Expertise in recruiting for a variety of roles including technical engineering and professional positions within the defense contracting industry.
- Strong understanding of federal regulations and compliance standards related to defense contracting including security clearance processes.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies and deliver results.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) Microsoft Office and other recruitment tools and platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with government contracting recruitment and clearance requirements.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems such as iCIMS Workday or similar platforms.
- Experience working in a highgrowth rapidly changing environment.
