About the Role:
Reporting to the Director Enterprise Systems this role will be part of the Workday implementation team from an HCM and Financial Systems capacity. As part of the Technology Department this role will work closely with our implementation partner/s various business stakeholders and members of our technology team to successfully execute tasks related to the working live environment (HCM) as well as the active rollout of Workday Finance. The successful candidate will support our Workday implementation for both HCM and Finance in areas of Business Processes Custom Validations & Master Data configuration and well as out of the box Integrations (EIBs RaaS API/WebServices) Report Development Migration through Customer Central Workday Release Management Tenant Management User Management and Case Generation Management through Workday Community.The incumbent will work with our Talent and Finance stakeholders on new initiatives related to Workday as well as support the current live environment.
Please note this role is hybrid based out of Toronto Canada or Cape Town South Africa where a minimum number of days as set by the region is required in office.
What Youll Be Doing:
Assist Finance and Talent departments in maintaining the existing configuration and design of business processes custom validations worktag management grouping categories and hierarchies and overall system configuration
Generate and support simple and advanced (WD) reporting for Financials and HCM
Elicit and document Finance and HCM business requirements
Build change/update & test changes as requested in areas of system configuration & reports and review/test releases provided by Workday
Document new processes implemented or update existing documentation when processes and/or configuration changes
Manage own sprint cycles through task management tool (ClickUP) to establish velocity deliverable velocity using sprint points
Review Daily Weekly Monthly and Yearly managed tasks to ensure the health and integrity of the Workday system
Assist Finance and Talent team with granting security access to functional areas (Domains Roles Groups) and assist in managing existing Security model/configuration
Report any issues as a Case in Workday as a NSC and assist stakeholders with any issues encountered in the system that requires Workday Support
Release management (Preview Tenant)
Connector Integrations minor integrations using out of the box connectors
Workday User Account Management in Production and nonproduction environments
Desired Skills & Experience
3 years of Workday administration support or analyst experience
Workday system administration and configuration knowledge a must
Experience with Workday connectors and integration tools a plus
Experience supporting HR and Finance processes and functions
Experience with Business Intelligence and reporting tools
Excellent organizational time management and problem solving skills
Expert collaboration skills and superior attention to detail and accuracy
Exceptional written and oral communication skills including system and process documentation
Ability to succeed in an environment that is subject to constant and fluid change
Driven and motivated by a fastpaced environment and have a willingness to learn and be
Challenged by continual professional development
Demonstrated experience engaging with all levels of management including seniorlevel
executives
Demonstrated experience with agile development methodologies and project delivery while
Adherence to established IT & Financial controls
