This position requires the successful candidate to reside within reasonable daily commuting distance to Tallahassee FL. Candidates not meeting this requirement will not be considered.

We are a leading national consulting firm that provides compassionate fullspectrum emergency management services including planning and preparedness response recovery and mitigation services to the public and private sectors before during and after a natural disaster or catastrophic event.

Our mission is to provide compassionate consulting services to local state federal and industry clients active in disaster response recovery and preparedness. We will be on time on target and on budget with the services aligned to the evolving threats and hazards facing our nation.

The position will be guided by ACDCs Corporate Values Platform in all activities.

Position Summary:

  • Job Title: Invoice Compliance Reviewer
  • Full Time or Part Time: Full time
  • Temporary/Seasonal/Regular: Temporary
  • Compensation: $2530/hour
  • Travel/Location: Onsite in Tallahassee FL

Mission of Role/Position Summary:

Be part of a team of knowledgeable compassionate and helpful allies for our clients. This position will support emergency response projects as needed. This position will provide invoicing and quality assurance support for our clients. The compliance reviewer will be responsible for ensuring data and eligibility accuracy for our invoicing process.

Tasks Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review invoices to ensure billing accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Ensure QA/QC for all data and invoices.
  • Invoice reconciliation and tabulation.
  • Review contracts to verify that what is being billed on an invoice is allowable.
  • Be able to confirm/review items on the invoice are eligible for FEMA reimbursement.
  • Assist with past due or returned invoices.
  • Ability to assist in response data management and data analytics.
  • Creating PDF documents.
  • Data entry and spreadsheet creations/maintenance.
  • Running reports and data extraction.
  • Manage data reporting collection and analysis.
  • Work in a fastpaced and variable environment with shifting priorities.
  • Assist with all needed administrative tasks for successful site operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Data management experience.
  • Experience in processing invoices.
  • FEMA eligibility knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently and to identify and resolve issues or propose solutions.
  • Be highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Possess strong time management skills along with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to adapt to different situations and individuals.
  • Excellent and proven computer skills particularly with Microsoft Office 365 Teams SharePoint.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

Expected Hours of Work:

Schedule may vary. Work on evenings and weekends may be required. Dependability and punctuality are paramount.

Travel Requirements:

  • No travel is expected for this position.
  • Like all positions in emergency management must be willing to travel and deploy to client sites for extended periods of time.

Physical Demands:

  • Mobility required onsite with clients.
  • Sitting or standing for hours at a time.
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time if needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. repetitively throughout the day and as needed.

Working Environment:

  • May work in an office or home environment or be deployed to the field which may require working outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
  • Work may be onsite with clients ex: EOC hospital debris sites or local government buildings.
  • If the work site locations change ACDC Human Resources must be made aware and leadership needs to approve any site changes for business registration and payroll tax purposes.


Requirements

Experience/Education Required:

  • Data management experience.
  • Experience in processing invoices.
  • FEMA eligibility knowledge.
  • Proficiency in data entry and data management.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel and Word) for analysis and communication.

Experience/Education Preferred:

  • Degree preferable in accounting finance or a related field.
  • Public Assistance experience and knowledge.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must pass company and any applicable client background check and reference check upon offer of employment.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship is required.
  • Must possess a personal cell phone and computer with which to perform the work.
