SENIOR ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
Job Purpose
To design test commission electrical control systems for Baker Perkins machinery meeting contractual/customer requirements within time and budget restraints.
Main Duties
- Design our control panels using our standard or designing from scratch
- Specify and issue electrical hardware parts lists according to contract specifications specify technical requirements for bought out equipment
- Develop and produce PLC and HMI software (Siemens Rockwell Mitsubishi)
- Produce machine functional specifications and test specifications
- Test equipment in our factory / test centre
- Help the Commissioning Engineers traveling to customer sites
- Propose permanent technical assistance in presale and postsale
- Help research and develop new products
Candidate Profile
- Background and/or experience in Industrial Electrical Engineering at an equipment builder if possible
- Professional experience (or apprenticeship) in control panel design
- Experience of programming PLC systems and HMI software
- Ability and pleasure to travel around the world for some weeks per year
- Know how to take initiative
- Solutiondriven and customeroriented sensibility
- Team spirit and sense of commitment
