Regent Universitys College of Arts & Sciences is seeking to fill an adjunct faculty position in the General Education Department. This position will be located at Regent Universitys Virginia Beach VA campus.
Qualifications: an earned PhD in philosophy from a regionallyaccredited institution. The candidate should have at least 18 credit hours in philosophy or in philosophyrelated subjects. The candidate should also be a generalist able to teach interdisciplinary courses in our General Education curriculum and he or she should also have proficiency in modern intellectual and cultural history. Candidates will be expected to teach oncampus.
Expectations include 1 a dedication to Christcentered teaching and learning; 2 a record of or potential for academic scholarship; 3 the ability to teach undergraduatelevel courses; 4 familiarity with online instructional technology; and 5 a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
