OnsiteExternal candidates will receive a signon bonus of $3000
Performs tests to assess conformance with engineering specifications. Sets up testing apparatus and conducts quality assurance/control tests of raw materials parts components finished items packaging equipment and systems. Performs final tests on subassemblies or completed units as necessary to ensure proper functioning of electrical mechanical and chemical performance. Scope of work may include but is not limited to strength testing thermal testing pyrometry and metallurgic testing.

What You Will Do
- Testing a variety of electronic units using prescribed test procedures
- Configuring interpreting recording or setting up and operating various test stands
- Utilizing tools to test and troubleshoot electronic units to the subassembly and component level.
- Reading and interpreting technical data such as component maintenance manuals engineering prints and schematics.
- Communicating work status to team members and support staff (e.g. shift pass down engineering maintenance job progression audits).
- Utilizing theory of electronic circuitry and electrical components.
- Writing in a clear and concise technical manner.
- Performing proper loading and unloading of electronic equipment in test beds.
- Compiling with applicable elements of quality systems and participates in continuous improvement efforts (CORE).
- Acquiring applicable skill/knowledge/certification as required.
- Compiling with safety and hazardous waste disposal programs.
- Utilizing computer tools such as SAP and accurately follows work instructions.
- Weekend 1st Shift: Friday Monday 5:00 am 3:30 pm
- Training Schedule: Monday Friday 5:30 am 2:30 pm; for 30 days
Work Environment
- You may occasionally need to provide weekend and holiday support to meet customer needs.
- In your role you will be exposed to:
- Products of various weights and sizes
- Equipment with moving parts
- Chemicals that may emit fumes
- To minimize safety risk to you and product you must wear staticcontrol and personal protective equipment.
Physical Demands
- Due to the nature of our work you will need to be able to perform the following functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Distinguishing colors and meeting vision requirements
- Bending stooping reaching turning as needed to place units in test stands pick up totes place units on rack etc.
- Using hands for extended periods of time to perform testing and troubleshooting tasks (e.g. grasping holding picking placing twisting fine manipulation)
- Must be able to stand for 2 hour increments without an opportunity to sit
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
- Transporting product with or without product carts

Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a HS Diploma (or equivalent e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen permanent resident or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: We Prefer
- Associates degree in Electronics
- Experience with component level troubleshooting
- Experience in aerospace industry
