An established and reputable clinic in Juneau AK is seeking a dedicated FullTime Veterinarian (DVM) to join their skilled team. Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to companion animals and some exotic species ensuring optimal health and wellbeing.
- Perform surgeries and procedures ranging from routine spays/neuters to more specialized orthopedic or softtissue surgeries.
- Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries ensuring timely and effective care for all patients.
- Consult with clients on health preventative care and lifestyle choices for their pets.
- Maintain accurate medical records and provide clear compassionate communication with clients about their pets conditions and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian (new graduates are also encouraged to apply with mentorship options available).
- Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in Alaska.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and staff.
- A genuine passion for animal care with an eagerness to grow professionally and contribute to the success of the clinic.
