The Secure Processing Solutions (SPS) department is responsible for the design test and certification of cross domain technologies and cryptographic products which equip our warfighters to thrive in todays multidomain battlespace. Our department collaborates with portfolio teams across the organization to help capture new business and create security hardened solutions that address our customers demanding needs.
The SPS Systems Engineering team is seeking a Systems Engineer who has a passion for innovation and the drive to see new technology and capability matured into fielded solutions. This role will contribute to a team that is responsible for systems and cyber security engineering tasks related to our next generation security enabled mission computing crypto and cross domain technologies maturing product from low TRL through program of record accreditation and factory production.
No need to be an established subject matter expert we are looking for talented individuals that love to problem solve and have a desire to grow and gain exposure to new skills. What YOU will do:
Collaborate with a highly skilled team and internal/external stakeholders to execute system engineering design and development activities for the Cross Domain Solutions product ensuring alignment with project goals
Lead and contribute to the secure systems development lifecycle by converting customer requirements into welldefined system and subsystem designs considering technical schedule and cost constraints to deliver optimal solutions
Manage cost accounts for assigned scope closely monitor and report on cost and schedule performance and support earned value metrics to ensure program success and financial control
Leverage personal experience and industry best practices to proactively identify manage and resolve issues risks and opportunities driving successful project outcomes and team performance
Facilitate and actively engage in Agile ceremonies including sprint reviews user story refinement and product demos ensuring continuous project improvement and alignment with customer expectations
Participate in a Systems Engineering Scrum Master or Product Owner rotation contributing to the development and cadence of AGILE plans to ensure timely and efficient delivery
Lead technical and operational discussions with the program team and external customers providing insights and solutions to ensure successful product development and delivery
Mentor and support the growth of other engineers in the department assisting with onboarding training and knowledge sharing to strengthen team capabilities
Oversee the development maintenance and of critical program ceremonies documentation and designs to ensure consistency accuracy and alignment with program objectives

The salary range for this role is 124000 USD 250000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
