Manager Software Dev India Seller Partner Services Tech

We are the selling partner services org and are on a mission to build tech solutions that empower sellers to delight the next billion customers. We are located across 3 sites Bangalore Seattle and Vanvouver. We are part of the larger India and Emerging Consumer Technology org that is not just transforming the way India buys and sells but also rolling out innovations WW to help Amazon serve a billion customers.

We are looking for a dynamic technology leader to deliver strategic goals for the Amazon marketplace. You will be responsible for owning area(s) as a single threaded leader with all tech roles reporting into you. You will either build new system capabilities grounds up or enhance the guts of the global consumer stack for launching strategic business initiatives to our customers.

3 years of engineering team management experience
7 years of engineering experience
8 years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing certification and livesite operations
Experience partnering with product or program management teams
Experience designing or architecting (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems

Experience in communicating with users other technical teams and senior leadership to collect requirements describe software product features technical designs and product strategy
Experience in recruiting hiring mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective product software engineers
