The Position
We have multiple Mathematic teaching positions vacant in both a part time or full time capacity fixed term until the end of 2025 with the possibility of ongoing employment.
Opportunity 1: Commencing midway through Term 2 or at the beginning of Term 3 2025. Experience in teaching Mathematical Methods Units 1&2 and other enrichment and specialist classes is highly regarded.
Opportunity 2: Parental Leave replacement position commencing midway through Term 2 2025. Ability in teaching Specialist Mathematics to Units 3&4 is preferred combined with experience with enrichment programs including AMT resources and various competitions.

Reporting to the Head of Mathematics the successful candidate should have the ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of curriculum content be able to use technology to support your teaching and understand the individual learning needs of students and develop and implement innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student engagement.
Our Mathematics Faculty provides our students with every opportunity to achieve a high level of success at VCE but also to explore areas of Mathematics that sit beyond the standard curriculum. For our students there is also a strong focus on problem solving and ample opportunities to excel in extension classes coding and through a wide range of competitions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Relevant teaching qualifications and current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
- A strong background in teaching mathematics.
- Aptitude for the use of technology for teaching and learning.
- Able to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Our teachers are expected to participate in and support our commitment to our students to ensure they have a wellrounded school experience encompassing curriculum cocurricular and pastoral care in addition to participating in our sporting program through coaching and managing sport teams.
