The Opportunity:
Port of Newcastle is looking for a new Work Supervisor Marine following an internal opportunity for our previous team member. In this role you will be responsible for the reliability and safety of the Ports marine structure assets including wharves jetties seawalls breakwaters and the opportunity to work with the Engineer Marine Structures in the management of the Ports marine infrastructure. This role requires the management of contractors and services providers and suppliers to deliver high quality and efficient services.
The role sits as a part of the Infrastructure Services team and will assist in the achievement of the overall department plan. It has a collaborative focus and will be required to work closely with other key stakeholders both internally and externally. You will have responsibility for endtoend process of maintenance works including the inspection investigation scoping procurement planning scheduling and closeout.
