Function of Work:
To manage medium size and moderately complex statewide program(s).
Level of Work:
Manager.
Supervision Received:
Administrative direction from a higherlevel administrator/executive.
Supervision Exercised:
Supervision over lowerlevel positions in accordance with the Civil Service Allocation Criteria Memo.
Location of Work:
Department of Health and Hospitals and other social service entities as established by an approved DSCS Allocation Criteria Memorandum.
Job Distinctions:
Differs from Program Manager 1ADHH and Program Manager 1BDHH by the presence of responsibility for administering medium size or moderately complex statewide program(s) and supervision exercised.
Differs from Program Manager 3DHH by the absence of responsibility for administering large size and highly complex statewide program(s) and supervision exercised.
This position serves as Program Manager 2 for the Bureau of Engineering Services. This position will function as the Special Projects Manager for matters related to the Governors Rural Water Infrastructure Committee (RWIC) projects associated with legislation and other complex duties as designated by the Chief Engineer. This position will oversee all functions regarding the Operator Certification Program. Furthermore the incumbent of this position will oversee the business aspects of the Bureau including contracts and Safe Drinking Water Fee collection.
