Job Description
RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.
We are hiring a Staff Nurse for one of the best Nursing Homes in Co Louth who is passionate about improving the quality of life of their residents and places a strong importance on social physical and mental stimulation.
Responsibilities
- Individualised resident personcentred care plans should be assessed planned carried out and evaluated within a predetermined framework in compliance with HIQA standards best practices and current evidencebased nursing research.
- The chosen applicant will offer comprehensive personcentred care encouraging maximum independence and improving our residents quality of life.
- Create and preserve strong relationships with the residents families and guardians to ensure a collaborative approach.
- To get the best input for the resident be cognisant of and collaborate closely with the many disciplines of the multidisciplinary team.
- In compliance with regional and federal regulations keep pertinent and accurate written records and reports about resident care.
- Encourage a care approach that respects the residents right to autonomy and consent while also enabling and facilitating.
- Keep an eye on residents general health work to avoid disease and encourage healthy living.
Requirements
- Essential Nursing Qualifications
- Licensed by the Irish Nursing and Midwifery Board (Essential)
- At least three years of experience as a nursing home staff nurse is preferred.
- Candidates must provide proof of ongoing professional growth.
- Candidates must have the necessary administrative expertise leadership skills and aptitude to carry out the responsibilities of the position.
- Qualifications for employment in the Republic of Ireland
