Alta Equipment Group (also known locally as AULT Industries Inc. is seekinga highly organized energetic individual to fill an immediate opening for a fulltime Heavy Equipment Service Technician. Experience with crushing and screening equipment is preferred but consideration will be extended to candidates with previous experience servicing diesel hydraulic and/or farm equipment.
Responsibilities
Domestic travail mandatory We perform our work in Quarry and Mine sites.
Our heavy equipment consists mainly of crusher screener and conveyor.
- Inspect crushing and screening equipment upon initial delivery for defects
- Inspect and diagnose faults or malfunctions
- Adjust crushing and screening equipment and repair or replace defective parts components or systems using hand or power tools
- Test repaired equipment for the proper performance
- Clean lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on crushing and screening equipment
- Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
- Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties
- Maintains condition of mobile service vehicle inventory tools and equipment
- Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
- Additional duties as required
Skills
- Valid drivers license with clean Drivers Abstract
- Minimum 2 years of experience performing service repairs
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to use basic computer functions and the MSOffice Suite of products
- Ability to work alone or as a member of a team with other tradespersons
- The capability of working outside in all types of weather for onsite customer service and inside a shop
- A strong work ethic reliability and dependability are key requirements for this position
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Fulltime Permanent
- Overtime hours may be required
