This role is based in North Kingstown RI.
Join our dynamic team as a DVT Engineering Lab Technician! In this role you will collaborate with the Design Verification Test (DVT) team to create and execute test specifications develop test cases and validate the performance and reliability of new and updated products. This position offers an opportunity to ensure product quality and integrity while working crossfunctionally in an innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing test specifications and building test cases for design verification testing.
- Execute test plans for new and legacy products based on documented requirements.
- Debug assemble and test printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Create and document test procedures specifications and results.
- Operate lab equipment such as oscilloscopes function generators power supplies and voltmeters.
- Read and interpret electronic schematics ensuring products meet performance standards.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality outcomes.
Qualifications
Required:
- 4 years of experience in a DVT test environment or as an Electronics Engineering Technician.
- Handson experience with PCB assembly soldering (throughhole and surface mount) and debugging.
- Proficiency with electronic lab equipment and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong ability to read technical documents and create viable test procedures.
- Demonstrated project team collaboration and multitasking skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with PCB layout and finepitch soldering.
- Knowledge of electronic motor control wireless communications and networking.
- Familiarity with DVT SQA testing and engineering support.
Education:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering Engineering Technology Software or equivalent experience.
