Job Description
Partner Staffingis currently working withour client seeking a highly experienced andmotivated Senior Transportation Engineer to join their dynamic team in Calgary.The successful candidate will lead and manage complex transportationinfrastructure projects including roads highways bridges and transitsystems from planning and design through to implementation and completion.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the development of transportation engineering projectsfrom conceptual design to detailed design and construction.
- Conduct and supervise feasibility studies impact assessments andtraffic analysis.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings specifications and costestimates.
- Collaborate with clients stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams toensure project objectives are met.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers andtechnical staff.
- Ensure compliance with local provincial and federal regulations andstandards.
- Lead public consultations and stakeholder engagement processes.
- Prepare and review reports presentations and documentation for clientsand regulatory agencies.
- Monitor project progress manage budgets and make necessary adjustmentsto ensure successful project delivery.
- Support business development activities including proposal preparationand client relationship management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Alberta.
- 7 years of experience in transportation engineering with a focus onroad and highway design.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D andtraffic analysis tools (e.g. SYNCHRO VISSIM).
- Strong understanding of transportation planning principles trafficengineering and geometric design standards.
- Proven ability to lead and work collaboratively within a team.
