POSITION SUMMARY
We are currently seeking a Soldering Technician with SMD and throughhole soldering experience to build circuit card assemblies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manually install electronic components according to knowledge of unit being assembled by following written directions and/or drawings and/or schematics.
Create soldered connections to applicable quality standards.
Solder while using a stereo microscope (Amscope or similar).
Replace and/or repair faulty components.
Work in compliance with OSHA and MSDS safety policies.
Adhere to company practices regarding safety and control of electrostatic discharge (ESD).
Qualifications/Experience
One to three years SMD experience or equivalent training.
IPC610 certification is a plus.
Knowledge of SMD component identification.
Ability to read and follow documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals written in English.
Excellent eyehand coordination
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Continuous improvement mindset
