Job Description
We are looking for a knowledgeable and detailoriented Tax Senior to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns providing strategic tax planning advice and ensuring compliance with federal state and local tax laws. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills excellent communication abilities and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review corporate partnership and individual tax returns.
- Conduct tax research and stay updated on changing tax laws and regulations.
- Advise clients on tax strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize financial opportunities.
- Work closely with clients to understand their financial situations and provide tailored tax solutions.
- Assist with tax audits respond to inquiries from tax authorities and resolve complex tax issues.
- Supervise and mentor junior tax staff reviewing their work for accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting.
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related field.
- CPA certification or progress towards obtaining CPA is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary: $80K$100K
