Job Description
Job Duties
- Use information collected from a variety of computer network defense resources (including but not limited to intrusion detection system alerts firewall and network traffic logs and host system logs) to identify analyze and report events that occur or might occur within their environment.
Required Skills:
- US Citizens Only
- TS/SCI Clearance andPolygraphrequired
- Minimum of eight 8)years of experience and a Bachelors degree; or
- Four 4 years of relevant experience and a Doctoral degree; or
- Six 6 years of relevant experience and a Masters degree; or
- Ten 10 years of relevant experience and an Associates degree; or
- Ten 10 years of relevant experience and eighteen 18 semester hours of military coursework/training in networking computer science or cyber topics
- Degree must be in Network Engineering Systems Engineering Information Technology or related field (e.g. General Engineering Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Science Computer Forensics Cyber Security Software Engineering Information Assurance or Computer Security)
- Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development programming information/cyber/network security vulnerability analysis penetration testing computer forensics information assurance and/or system engineering.
- Must have experience in network or system administration
Compensation Range: $73981.55 $162759.42
Compensation ranges encompass a total compensation package and are a general guideline only and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including but not limited to: level of position complexity of job responsibilities geographic location candidates scope of relevant work experience educational background certifications contractspecific affordability organizational requirements and alignment with local market data.
