Job Description
Brookfield Credit manages approximately $314 billion of assets globally focused on a broad range of private credit investment strategies including infrastructure and renewable credit real estate asset backed and corporate credit. Return profiles span investment grade subinvestment grade and opportunistic credit. As one of the worlds largest and most experienced credit managers globally we deliver flexible specialized capital solutions to borrowers and attractive riskadjusted returns to our investors.
The Infrastructure Credit team manages capital on behalf of Brookfield Wealth Solutions (BWS) closedended funds and separately managed thirdparty accounts. BWS is the insurance arm of Brookfield with a permanent evergreen and rapidly growing capital base with AUM of over $100 billion with substantial growth expected in the future.
Position Summary:
Based in New York Brookfield is seeking a candidate to work as part of the Infrastructure Credit team supporting the origination and management of infrastructure credit and structured equity investments for funds managed by Brookfield Credit.
Responsibilities:
Performing due diligence including comprehensive financial credit and valuation analyses
Developing and reviewing detailed financial models
Conducting asset corporate and industry research
Preparation of presentation materials and analysis for the funds investment committees and third parties (e.g. potential issuers / borrowers and rating agencies)
Sourcing and screening for new investment opportunities
Monitoring new and existing investments
Interacting with management teams and fund investors
Contribute to a dynamic teamoriented working culture
Assist in fundraising workstreams
Qualifications:
Demonstrated track record of excellence in academic professional and personal contexts
Minimum 2 6 years of experience in investment banking or credit / equity investing covering the infrastructure sector
Strong excel skills and complex modeling ability
Excellent writing and communication skills
High level of personal integrity and pride of authorship in work
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
Ability to multitask and work in fastpaced environment
Strong interpersonal skills and teamoriented approach
Selfmotivated individual focused on building a business for longterm growth
Prior experience in rating agency engagement a positive but not essential
