Description
The Network Administrator must demonstrate the ability to: Analyze the planning design development and implementation of system and network engineering plans for our Intelligence Community customers. Monitor all activities of the network facilities and ensure high quality data transmission. Provide technical support for all customer facing engagements/interactions including receipt of specifications design test and response to service requests. Debug and test networks analyze technical projects perform needs assessments analyze and/or oversee cost and benefit estimates presentations negotiations installations problem resolutions procurements and multivendor product integration. Provide initial engineering and implementation support of networks to assure proper and provides resolution for system failures or degradations as needed. Provide project management and documentation as required. It is expected that the candidate will at times participate in and / or facilitate stakeholder meetings as required. Proven ability to delegate tasks comprehensively and in parts is necessary to be successful in this environment.
Clearance
A current TopSecret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Experience
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (CS) Information Systems or Network Engineering and at least five 5 years of demonstrable experience in network (LAN/WAN) configuration monitoring security and protection. Or the individual shall have five 5 years of full time CS work that can be substituted for the Bachelor s degree and at least five 5 years of demonstrable experience in network (LAN/WAN) configuration monitoring security and protection.
