Job Description
We are seeking are seeking a summer intern in our East Granby CT facility. The Mechanical Engineer Intern will provide mechanical and/or controls engineering support for daily production tasks including assisting manufacturing and development operations. The successful individual will be able to balance a wide variety of responsibilities that includes handson and analytical work. Responsibilities would include:
- Support daily troubleshooting activities
- Work with engineering and process team to support mechanical design work for key projects
- Work with equipment engineering team to conduct preventative maintenance and support activities such as spare parts organization
- Apply mechanical electrical and/or controls related skill sets to support business initiatives
Education/Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Electrical or Controls Engineering or other related degree.
- 100 onsite access
- Handson experience operating equipment and tools
- Proficiency with standard desktop software (Outlook Word Excel)
- Excellent communication skills.
- Selfmotivated driven personality
- Must work well in teams
