accountability
the warehouse operative is specifically accountable to the pack room manager for the following:
- packing and dispatch of seed shipments globally
- seed treatment and seed cleaning operations
responsibilities
the warehouse operative is specifically responsible for
packing and dispatch of seed shipments globally will include but not limited to the following:
- review orders prior to being picked to ensure sufficient stock is available
- picking and packing orders using handheld scanners
- dispatching orders using relevant software for couriers
- confirming orders have been packed and dispatched using IT system
- assist employees undertaking export work to ensure they have the required information
- Using forklift scissor lift and or pump truck to access goods and move them between locations
- adhere to health and safety procedures at all times and alert management of any concerns
- answer customer queries in relation to any orders you have packed which require further information
Seed treatment and seed cleaning operations will include but not be limited to the following :
- liaise with pack room manager to identify which lots and varieties require treating /cleaning
- complete work schedule for treating and cleaning with the relevant employees and periodically inspect the quality of completed work
- ensure necessary journals are posted on NAV and paperwork is completed to record the seed treating/cleaning work
- ensure chemical consumables are stocked sufficiently and are used and stored safely
- ensure equipment used in seed treating and cleaning operations is well maintained and safe
- adhere to health and safety procedures at all times and alert management of any concerns
Company specific training in relation to product will be provided
working hours 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Friday
occasional over time will be available
successful candidate will be offered one week paid company training at main hub in Spain
Starting salary 25 30K per annum DOE
31 days holiday per annum including bank holidays
performance related bonus of 3K per annum paid to all employees
company health insurance also provided after probation.
