Team Description:

The Coupang Media Group (CMG) is the advertising platform team within Coupang. We are a globally distributed team focused on delivering advertising solutions for those that sell products on our platform. This includes display search performance brand and video ads offerings.

Role Description:

With the latest advances in AI/ML we have the opportunity to rethink the traditional ads stack to deliver unique highquality experiences to our customers that were traditionally outside the realm of possibility. This Ads Product Leader role can be a senior individual contributor focusing on the ads ML stack with the goal of improving the value to advertisers and shoppers.

Core responsibilities:

• Product ownership for CMG Ads.

• Define the product vision strategy and roadmap to reimagine our ads experience to deliver unique customer experiences while directing daytoday towards the vision.

• Launch and improve ad products that surface highly relevant results for consumers and better conversion for advertisers

• Work closely with business engineering internal/external partners and customers to define project requirements and success criteria

• Effectively communicate collaborate and drive alignment with a variety of stakeholders including senior executives to ensure highly scalable and performance endtoend experience for advertisers and shoppers.

Qualifications:

• 6 years of product management experience developing and launching products in the advertising or recommendations domain

• Proven ability to deliver in a complex stakeholder and partner team environment

• Handson experience working in an Agile environment with a short iteration cadence

• Multiple successful launches of V1 products in a rapid growth environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to understand technical challenges and make educated tradeoffs

Preferred:

• Masters degree in an analytical or engineering discipline or MBA preferred

• Experience working in international environments and globally distributed team

Pay & Benefits

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. At Coupang your base pay is one part of your total compensation.

The base pay for this position ranges from $159000/year in our lowest geographic market to $324000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending onjobrelated knowledge skills and experience.
