Select Signs is seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our apparel production team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating various machinery including heat press embroidery DTF (Direct to Film) machine and proficiency in hooping and managing a 6head embroidery machine. The role requires precision attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment. Select Signs is seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our apparel production team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating various machinery including heat press embroidery DTF (Direct to Film) machine and proficiency in hooping and managing a 6head embroidery machine. The role requires precision attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment. This position offers opportunities for crosstraining and expanding skill sets within our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heat press equipment to apply designs logos and graphics onto various apparel items.
- Utilize embroidery machines to create intricate designs monograms and patterns on garments.
- Manage a DTF machine to produce highquality prints directly onto fabric.
- Hoop garments accurately and efficiently for embroidery ensuring proper alignment and tension.
- Run and maintain a 6head embroidery machine including thread changes tension adjustments and troubleshooting.
- Perform quality checks throughout the production process to ensure finished products meet standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace including routine maintenance of equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.
- Participate in training sessions to learn new techniques and equipment operation as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Proven experience operating heat press embroidery and DTF machines in an apparel production setting.
- Proficiency in hooping garments accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to manage a 6head embroidery machine including setup operation and maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to meet production deadlines.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving production processes.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to stand for extended periods and lift/move materials as needed.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a production environment.
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to start a 7am or 8am shift.
- Certification or formal training in apparel production machine operation or related field.
- Familiarity with different fabric types and their properties.
- Previous experience in a fastpaced manufacturing or production environment.
