Potawatomi Ventures Internship Program
Potawatomi Ventures is pleased to present this Internship Program intended for the Native American community. The Program provides a preference first for members of the Forest County Potawatomi Community followed by spouse and Forest County Potawatomi Descendants.
Mission and Purpose
To provide career development and learning opportunities to members of the Forest County Potawatomi Community. Offering development of business skills through the application of education and life experiences within Potawatomi Ventures.
Eligibility Requirements
Enrolled Forest County Potawatomi Community Member spouse or descendant.
Completion of the Employment Application.
Actively in school or graduated within last 2 years.
Ability to work at a Potawatomi Venturesor Potawatomi Ventures Subsidiary locations.
Participate in interview for employment and be selected as an Intern.
Program Details and Duration
Potawatomi Ventureswill offer Internships of eight to twelve week programs of Full or Part Time Employment at the Potawatomi VenturesCorporate office or with one of the Potawatomi VenturesSubsidiaries. Fields of study for Internships include but are not limited to:
Accounting and Finance
Information Technology
Marketing
Human Resources
Facilities

Program Learning and Experiences
Each Intern will be provided experience in the operations of the Potawatomi VenturesBusinesses and opportunities for:
Development of technical skills in chosen field of study
On the Job training
Advancement of written and verbal communication
Leadership
Development soft skills
Providing feedback and improvements to Potawatomi Venturesbusinesses
Interaction with customers and vendors
Real time feedback from supervisors on successes achieved
Learning about the Potawatomi VenturesBusinesses
Interns will build on their education and life experiences applying those experiences in a realworld business environment. Upon completion of the Potawatomi VenturesInternship create a professional network with professionals from Potawatomi Ventures customers vendors and other current past and future Potawatomi VenturesInterns.

Potawatomi Ventureswill offer ongoing Internship Opportunities.
The application for these Internships will be ongoing. However as summer presents to be the most appealing time for students we will also accommodate any other times of the year.
