Position Summary
This role is responsible for supporting the Mesabi Metallics project team ensuring that resources documentation and communication are effectively managed to help meet project deadlines and objectives.
The Project Support Staff will be responsible for the following:
- Project Support: Support Project Team as required
- Material Management: Identify and distribute materials to the proper area.
- Safety & Admin Support: Support the safety & Admin team as directed by Project Team.
- Improve Efficiency: Support project team to enhance contractor efficiency and provide support for positive environment external stakeholder management & ultimately timely project completion.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to assist in planning coordinating and tracking project progress ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
- Detailoriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fastpaced environment.
- Valid drivers license and willing to drive for work related requirements
- MSHA Certification will be required.
- High School Diploma
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Exposure to the elements (rain snow cold heat etc) is to be expected.
- $28.50 hourly depending on experience and qualifications.
